I've continued to watch since this was first posted, the shows they make are right up my alley. I think the weekly content might be a bit too much for the team at times, a lot of late nights and getting sick at one point. I hope they can find a good balance and keep making great videos that having me laughing every weekend.

I think it was a good idea for him to spend time explaining his exit from Hot Rod Garage. I knew most of the story but a lot of people probably don't so it clears things up.

I rarely watch him as his projects are generally too far out there for my taste, but I do have great respect for the guy. This was a nice biographical video and I learned a lot from it. Those Philly guys have it going on. He should team up with Chris from NNKH for something.
I enjoy his content much more than Finnegan's Garage. Tony seems like he actually accomplishes things and we get to see projects actually progress and do stuff. I kind of checked out on Finnegan's Garage after the 50th episode of "The clutch in my car slips again. Here's an hour of an expert doing all sorts of tuning on it. Tune in next week when it still doesn't work right and we do it all again."

I've been emailing him about signing up for mid atlantic car fest. A smaller one lap. I also live about 45 minutes from him as well. Dude is my hero.
Great show, and I think the chemistry with his crew is just right. Some great builds -- Powerkraut leaps to mind, but I am also eagerly awaiting the content where that ridiculous Aston V12 is put into the Fox Body!
I like his genuineness . . . the explanation video confirms that persona. I'd love to host him at an event, but who knows how he'd find time.

Although I never really got into Finnegan's Garage on youtube, I've found myself becoming increasing annoyed by his personality the more I see of him. That Roadkill episode where they did the "trophy truck" and faster with Finnegan on MT spoiled it. I cringe everytime I see him now.
Tony Angelo is the opposite. I kinda didn't "get him" when he first started on Hot Rod Garage, but the longer I've watched his stuff, the more I like the guy. With this new information that being a GREAT dad is his #1 priority, I have even more respect and admiration for him. Well done sir

He came up to Syracuse Nationals last year as a guest celebrity, which is a weekend long show, so it's not that out of the question.
Also, I find that bit about someone being hired for HRG to replace Finnegan before him fascinating. For those who haven't watched, apparently after Finnegan left, they hired someone who filmed some content that the public never saw, because Freiburger basically fired the guy when they went to a swap meet and the guy couldn't tell the difference betweena small block Ford and a small block Chevy.

Big fan of Tony here. Content creation is a ton of work, and he's committed to making great, entertaining stuff. And good on him for being a responsible dad too! I have a lot of respect for him quitting his dream gig to take care of things at home. And he's going to come out on top in the end.
I also really like his current crew. They really remind me of how my friends and I get things done, right down to the pizza.
I also feel bad for Tony, in that recently he said he really wanted the Twinpala back, and had tried to buy it off of MotorTrend pretty much ever since he left (not unprecedented, since some of the Roadkill cars were owned by MotorTrend or Hot Rod Mag and then Freiburger bought them out) but MotorTrend wouldn't budge off of it. Then recently, the TwinPala got cut up to donate one of the engine/transmissions to Mazdarati 2.0, and the remains were scrapped.

There haven't been any videos about the project beyond the introductory one where they acquire the Fox body, and do a bit of preliminary teasing. His YT channel "Stay Tuned", is certainly worth following as a GRM enthusiast.
He's definately "one of us".

i'm not a facebook user but managed to find the page but couldn't find any details on the event (starting location, event list, cost, etc.) so its hard to know much about the event.
