I suggest giving her a card with a note inside that says you'll buy her a helmet, and then she can figure which one fits her head best before buying it. Nothing worse than an uncomfortable helmet.
Problem is, finding a place that carries SA helmets in stock is nearly impossible. OR, if you do find a place, they carry one brand.

I've rolled the dice and mail-ordered my last two helmets (G-force and Protect) and been happy with both.
Just to echo two thoughts that have already been brought up. Well, 3 things actually with the first being kudos for encouraging sis' enthusiasm!
If you are sure, certain, absolutely positive that she will only auto-x then you're safe with an M. If there is a chance that she might want to try a HPDE get an SA. Despite what was posted earlier I've NEVER seen an organizer allow anything less on track.
Helmets are very much like shoes; they don't all fit alike and one manufacturer's sizing may be entirely different from anothers. They really need to be tried on which of course can't be done online. Buy her a nice helmet bag and put a gift card for a local (or semi-local) retailer inside so she can try them out and choose for herself.
