Half hearted dreaming has turned into frustration of not being able to locate what I want.
I am looking for 16X7 minilite style wheels ET0 to ET30 in 5x4.5"/5x114.3
VTO comes closest if I custom order the bolt pattern at a $50 upcharge per wheel. They only offer the bolt pattern I need in the 8" which will not fit up front without shortening the control arms. It also seems they just add thickness to the center instead of allowing the wheel to have more dish when they offer lower offsets which is no bueno.
What I would really like is Rota RB or Konig Rewinds but the combo of pattern I need and the size I need doesn't exist in those either.
Starting to kick myself for changing from four lug.
Watanabes could be an option but are custom order at a premium price. American Racing doesn't offer the silverstone in 16. Panasports? I can call Spruell motorsports but I am betting they would be custom order too.
The Vintage wheel works isn't as attractive, although it is more true to the vintage look. Also only 8" wide.
Superlites look kinda weird in 16
Grrr.
I have a set of OEM rims from a Mitsubishi of some sort that look very much like like that and are the right size and bolt pattern. They are a FWD offset though and would require spacers. I can get you details if you are interested, they should be available locally.

Wait wait wait. I thought your Falcon had four doors. Right?
Not my car, but his choice of wheels is killing me. I LOVE IT
Granted. My affinity for minilites/panasports/watanabes is well documented
Edited due to poor reading comprehension.
My .02¢. The Vintage Wheel Works will look great.
I hear your frustration, i had no idea that I would spend as much time trying to find wheels that worked as i did designing and fabbing motormounts.

I cannot picture any Mitsu wheels that look remotely like minilites. Got a pic?
