I ordered 2 front stabilizer end links for a 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7 from the online store of a Mazda dealership's parts counter, priced at $30.22 apiece. They sent me 2 stabilizer links for a 2003-07 Mazda3 or 2006-08 Mazda5, which are priced at $13.48 apiece. Shipping is $12.95, flat rate. It says on their website that if I didn't include the VIN, there will be no refunds or exchanges. I don't think I did include the VIN.

So, I'm screwed, aren't I, even though I got charged the price of the RX-7's links and got the Mazda3/5's links instead?

I was not part of MazdaSpeed Motorsport Development's parts program until after the links got shipped. I'll only be ordering OEM parts from them from now on. In the meantime, I won't be racing my -7 and I will have to hold off on fixing it until I get my Subaru's timing belt and vandalized spoiler replaced. When it rains, it pours, doesn't it?

If the end links on my parts car are in good shape they are yours for free, but you have to come by,and take them out,I am too busy.

If they did not ship you what is on your invoice, I would definitely call them up, and calmly explain how they shipped you the wrong thing.

I would imagine the "no returns" thing is to prevent people from ordering the wrong item.

If they did not ship you the item you ordered, that is their fault, not yours.

The parts counter was initially reluctant to do anything because of the VIN issue, but since it was their screw-up and not mine, they relented. It'll be a while 'till the parts come in, as they have to be reordered.

Mazdax605, I know you're too busy to pull the parts yourself, but if you could take a quick peek at the links and let me know what condition they are in, I'd appreciate it.
