I ordered 2 front stabilizer end links for a 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7 from the online store of a Mazda dealership's parts counter, priced at $30.22 apiece. They sent me 2 stabilizer links for a 2003-07 Mazda3 or 2006-08 Mazda5, which are priced at $13.48 apiece. Shipping is $12.95, flat rate. It says on their website that if I didn't include the VIN, there will be no refunds or exchanges. I don't think I did include the VIN.
So, I'm screwed, aren't I, even though I got charged the price of the RX-7's links and got the Mazda3/5's links instead?
I was not part of MazdaSpeed Motorsport Development's parts program until after the links got shipped. I'll only be ordering OEM parts from them from now on. In the meantime, I won't be racing my -7 and I will have to hold off on fixing it until I get my Subaru's timing belt and vandalized spoiler replaced. When it rains, it pours, doesn't it?
