The lease is up on the Leaf in August. I really like this thing, but will instead be replacing it with a $2k fun beater. While I have the Leaf, I want to stretch its legs a bit. It's not such a bad little car after all.
I have a dragstrip about a mile form my house. I can handle that.
I have never autocrossed. I'd like to try. The closest Autocrosses are 45 miles away. That's too far for the round trip range (around 100 miles) assuming that I actually participate in the autocross.
Rallycross? No idea. Can you do this without ruining a leased car?
It's not up to snuff for a HPDE.
I live in zip code 29651. I am not really willing to tow the Leaf somewhere, and relying on public charging to make the round trip doesn't really fit me well either.
Any ideas?

Will a small portable generator provide enough juice at the autocross before, after, and between runs?

Dragstrip COULD be fun if you actually try to match up with things you can be close to or beat. If you just run the car to see what the number at the end will be and dont 'race' anyone else it will be pretty boring. Just my .02.
I have done a LOT of 'slow car' drag racing and it's all about picking your battles to optimize comedy.
trailer it to the autocross and use a generator to recharge between runs..
Any public charging near the autocrosses? You could get there early and charge before racing. Or spend the night at a nearby buddy's.
I plan on auto crossing the leaf this summer.

If you weren't 6+ hours away, I would totally volunteer to provide the tow rig to make a rallycross or autocross happen.
How about some bracket racing at the local drag strip? I'm going to assume that the Leaf delivery fairly consistent times.
Yeah, finish your damn truck and tow it to autocross.
