I subscribed forever ago, and just when I was about to file a complaint with paypal I got issue number 2, it's decent, but it sure ain't flying off the press
Pretty sure it's only 4 issues a year.
I subscribed knowing this. Since it's basically 2 brothers putting the thing out, I'd say they're doing a helluva job.
I just sent my money in and I agree they are doing a decent job. It shows you how hard the magazine business is.
So far I think the orange paint theme is popular.....
Even though almost all my stuff is Limey I check them out occasionally.

In reply to Jensenman:
Yeah, but whatcha got powering one of those Limey rods?
In reply to gamby:
Mine's not a Kujira, it's a S50. It is one of my favorite logo's though.
In reply to Carson: two of 'em are 'nostalgic Japanese' powered.
Damn. Gamby sent me the link a while back, but I hadn't delved in too deeply. 5 minutes ago I had never heard of a Nissan Laurel. Now I know "Butaketsu" is Japanese for "SECKS:"

That could be interesting. Do they sell the magazine at BAM or B&N? I don't remember seeing it last time I was through.
$14.95 for 4 issues seems high.
I see your point, but here in the Southeast a lot of folks said the same thing about that little autocross magazine from Florida 25 years ago..

That Laurel has changed hands a few times. I love how the rear end looks like an early 70's Plymouth. The car has a very muscular look to it.
I still have the pics of this car from an ebay ad from a couple of years ago:

^Stunning. It's a bit bosozoku meets US muscle car. I think I prefer it without the matte paint and side-skirts, too.

Egg-zachary. Japanese Mopar? Yes prease.
Glad to see so many folks like what we're doing with the magazine.
And those that don't, we're always open to suggestions.
Oh wow... Sorry to drag up a hell of old topic...
A friend sent me a link to this thread and I falsely assumed it was a current topic...
It's OK, you guys made it 3 issues so far and Rotary Speed only made it one. I love JNC, especially the 1st Gen RX7 coverage

No sweat, dude. Lovin' what you're doing. There's a 1st gen CRX (it's an SI!) around the corner from me that's calling my name now...a For Sale sign in the window without a price or phone number. Also, a local (I'm in Atlanta) club had a pretty good turnout at The Mitty, and several of them were pushing your mag.

Y'all are doing some quality stuff. Keep at it. The road trip in the old Cressida wagon was priceless, and the kind of thing that all of us enjoy reading. We'll keep spreading the word.
Do you offer back issues yet? I missed this thread when it started and I'd like to have the 2 issues that aren't current. (I haven't checked the site yet, but I sure dig vintage japenese iron, er steel I mean )
Doh! Nevermind, just checked the site. You'll have a new subscriber shortly. . .
