Way to outshine old Formula 1 cars and such!
If the Zamboni shows up, they'll never know what hit 'em.
Any interest in non-challenge cars? I was thinking about bringing the turbo civic out. I promise it's much more interesting than the challenge car at this point.
Does this include the group 44 dinner , track laps , key to the beer cooler , swag to wear while looping the camping area , golf cart , tee shirts to give to chics for gratuitous boob shots ?
Was going to bring my $2009 car but haven't heard much about this even after sending a response email. If I'm towing it 1600 miles I would like to know more.
We just got the tickets in this week and will be sending them out to those that contacted us. We are waiting to see if anyone else wants in on the party.

No, but we'll see if we can line up a pony for you.

Do the gold nuggets count in the $2009 budget? Can I recoup some of the cost of the hay if I resell the poop
OK- I used the contact link, but there wasn't any option to say "Event question" or "Mitty Question", so don't be surprised if I sent it to the wrong person!
I could probably fill your car corral with all the Challenge cars in various states in my yard!
There is lots of info at theMitty.com. This is our 25th anniversary party with cake and free beer. We welcome all our readers. We have car corrals for all cars. The entire staff will be there. We have a live band Saturday night, we have free autocrossing in new Miatas on Saturday and freaking free autocrossing in new Lotus' on Sunday. What more could you want?
I got all the info from theMitty.com link. The first post in this thread said we need to contact the office for tickets if we were bringing a Challenge car. I did- haven't heard back.
...I know you guys are busy.
Hey guys,
We are getting together the entrants but as of right now we only have a couple Challengers signed up. I will assume that the rest of you are either working on the cars or have sold the most recent challenger.
Either way email me @ greg@grassrootsmotorsports.com if you are planning on coming with a challenge car so I can make sure you are on the list. We will either have the tickets at will call or we have HSR mail them out to you.
Thanks,
Greg
I'll be at the Mitty. Not with a Challenge car, but the Targa Miata and (hopefully) an LSx car as well. Grab me if you see me wandering by looking dazed and say hi.
You sure are. Tickets for everyone that emailed me will be at will call. I will be emailing everyone back today.
I'm driving down in my $2006 Challenge Probe GT, but it's no longer dressed like a Challenger. Can I still get the comp? I just asked the same question at the "Contact Us" link in the first post of this thread. I selected "Club Question", so don't know whose inbox that'll show up in.
Let's play nice kids.......don't make Mom take your car keys as you enter the tent.
Saturday night's party should be a whole lotta fun. I spoke with Wes Cobb (our musical entertainment) and he is hard at work learning additional "car themed" songs. (Good Lord Mr. Ford, Rapid Roy, East Bound and Down, etc.)
The 25th GRM Birthday party is gonna rock!
even without a drunken burnout contest.
