Anyone ever been in a non-auto type place and had someone compliment you on your GRM shirt? I was coming out of Meir with some groceries and some guy passing me on his way in said "I like your shirt!"
I'd like to think he owned the nice Mazdaspeed MX-5 parked a row ahead of mine. (No decal though.)
Shirt no, hat yes. The owner of one of our vendor rep groups loves the magazine, is a long time subscriber. We talked Miatas for a while.

I got complimented on my "I pooped today!" shirt by an amish guy at a farmers market. Does that count?
I've had several people comment on the word "Hardcore" on my GRM shirts. Not cool...
No. Never. But... I'm seriously considering buying that Celine Dion shirt from the other thread because I am sure that she has a lot of fans and I seek their approval.
That shirt needs more umlauts.
Every shirt needs more umlauts.
Had a guy in the ATL airport compliment my GRM shirt as we passed.
Had a guy complement my ass once. But never my shirt.

You need to get a longer shirt!
Saw a guy wearing a shirt that said "Joseph Lucas: inventor of the intermittent headlight" at Birmingham airport over the weekend. Didn't get close enough to high five him.
I've gotten several comments and compliments over my ClassicMotorsports shirts of various vintage. Never a one for any of my GRMS shirts though.
I had somebody misread my GRM shirt as "Hardcore Watersports".
I guess the brain fills in what it wants to see :shudder:

I have a shirt that simply has a brake light from a non-roundie 2002. It is now a dirty garage project shirt, but when it was newer and I wore it out, I did get a compliment on it. I was unsure if they recognized the brake light or just liked the idea.
Jared from Car Fix wears some neat car-related shirts.
Like the "slippery road" sign. The only words on it read: "officer, clearly that sign caused me to do a burnout"

Not on my GRM shirt but I did get a couple good comments on this one from blipshift.
All of the comments have been from SWMBO, she wanted to know why there was a "Power Ranger" on my GRM shirt.
I've got the "gimme five" shirt from Blipshift, SWMBO thinks it's hilarious to stick her hand up and literally give me five when I wear it.

When I raced my MGA at Laguna Seca, I used to walk through the Porsche pits wearing this one.....
I wonder if there's a "The answer is always Miata" shirt.

I was on vacation with my wife last month and the owner of a small shop took a look at my Blipshift shirt which says "The World Is Flat" and asked if I owned an old Porsche. Nobody has ever gotten that reference before so it surprised me a bit that he did.
Turns out he really missed his old 356B. We had a nice chat after that. Cool guy.
