I just bought some wheels and tires for this week's trackday. However, the selection was severely limited and I needed something. As such, well, they're very green.
Not sure if I love or hate this color combo. What thinks the hive?

I have a set of bright yellow wheels for my 2-tone bronze C4, and I feel the same. I like how over-the-top wild wheel colors are, yet I also feel like like I did when I had blue & purple hair as a teenager - it just seems like a "hey, look at me" gesture.
For track wheels though, I don't think that matters.
I can't decide. I am extremely over green wheels because dorifto doors. However, I also really like mods of questionable aesthetic as long as they're functional. (Ie, ugly wheels because they were cheap and light).

They were definitely light and cheap.

Mine's a Tuscani.
Bright wheels on a subdued paint are fantastic. It's like a nose ring on a chick with a butterface.... it distracts.

fixed it for you.
don't hate them for track wheels. Plastidip and they are whatever you want.
Why not buy some lime green plasti-dip and do sectioned stripe graphics for a nostalgic early-00s vibe?

I didn't say there was one. They look fine 4 track wheels. look a little rice for every day.
Actually he's in good company with that color scheme. I've seen 991 Porsche gt3rs track car with that exact same look, only difference was Porsche had the mirrors also painted lime green.
Oooh, that's a better idea. Color match the mirrors and wing, add a stripe, then get a bag to put over your head when you need to go get groceries.
In reply to Chadeux:
Actually There is a reason many track and race cars have brightly colored Wheels. To more easily identify crack cracks in the spokes.
Now if he has a 5 inch coffee can Muffler hanging out the back it really would be rice. Either that or someone might mistake him for someone driving a piece of E36 M3 Dodge D350
