Mother Earth News did a big write up about one set-up. Seems pretty GRM.

They need to learn how to take a picture and add it to the article.
But running the pressure off the existing power steering pump is genius, and something I had considered in the past for other nefarious dream builds.
i have seen the power steering used on larger diesel trucks, but it is usually used to control smaller hydraulic rams that dont really move a lot of weight. Im not sure if a standard belt driven power steering pump would be up for the challenge of lifting the weight of a loaded truck bed

Oh man, I want a race-car hauler set up like that!

I'm picturing stepping up a size in chassis(or just buy a used roll-off garbage truck), with separate box/ramp/dump/RV beds you back up to & swap out in minutes.

That's the magic of hydraulics. The only thing that would restrict you is the size of the hydraulic fluid reservoir. Other than that, the pump doesn't care if its operating a 1" ram or a 6" ram. I use a power steering pump on a 4" agricultural ram in my press, and with the pressure bumped up a bit, its almost too fast.
Doesn't bravenrace have a pickup with a dumping bed?
This idea would shine with loading motorcycles/dirt bikes/other heavy items. Probably would save a back or two in the process.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw this.
Just dont forget to unlatch the tailgate.
Ive had to go rescue my manure dump truck an quite a few occasions when someone tried to help and tilted it back and it would lift the wheels off the ground as it balances in the gate.
