So, had seen some Honda Crosstours around town lately...they kind of caught my eye! Aside from the "New cars" review and some bashing on the styling, I haven't seen any real commentaries or opinions on it. Anyone here have any input?

I sat in one in the dealership. They have a huge blind spot. Very un-Hondalike.

I normally try to pass up opportunities to trash vehicles that rub me wrong, but have to make an exception for this one, 'cause I really dislike them. They look like an oversized coupe on an SUV body. All the bulk of a SUV without the utility. They strike me as a product designer's attempt to pander to American excess. Blech!

Other than that they're OK.

the footprint of an SUV without the rear headroom or vertical cargo space. You can fit more in the back of a focus hatch

Completely horrid idea. As other said, has the bloating of an SUV, the headroom and cargo room of a coupe and blindspots of a dump truck. Other than that, it's sheer awesomeness.

I understand the hate but I'm embarrassed to say something about them really appeals to me. Every time I compare specs ( stuff mentioned above, plus same mpg as my v8 mustang) they make absolutely no sense, but then I see an AWD and picture it with rally tires, maybe a light bar, and I get all goose pimply.

I just hope their value tanks in a couple years so I can pick up a cheap one and beat it unmercifully.

I like these cars too, but wondered about a blind spot. Now I know.

I usually LOL when I see them because I find them ridiculous. A proposed solution to a problem that didn't exist. Don't know anything at all about them other than I don't like them.

Aww bummer! So it is more than just the "progressive" styling that doesn't get liked, eh? I was hoping for some mind-blowing awesome reviews of how underrated they are and to snatch one up ASAP if I get the chance. They doesn't seem to be too many Certified Pre Owned ones (read 2) in a 250 mile radius from me (Cleveland).

Like I said, whenever I see them I can't stop looking, in a good way haha! Haven't sat in them or anything, and like I said, the only GRM review I saw wasn't too bad... GRM New Cars Review 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour EX-L

they keep reminding me of the AMC 4x4 wagons. in all the right ways.

I kinda dig em though i wish the MPGs were better.

However overall i think they are neat....i have em in the same category as the toyota venza

I hear you about the MPGs...but for a v6 AWD it doesn't seem too bad eh? Plus, for a people mover and not sport oriented, should be OK I'd think? I know Honda has great build quality and the more I see these around the more they seem to want me to test drive one haha!
