I don't really watch Rob Dahm, but his enthusiasm is obvious - fun video.

1200hp/awd car with nothing between the occupants and the spiny bits? Yikes! Also, what's happening to the guy's boost pipe around the 18:35 mark? I'm not familiar with that type of clamp, but that doesn't seem like something that's supposed to move like that.

Once he gets some more seat time and R&D time on that RX-7, that's going to be one bad unit. I love how he got information from Ken Block's suppliers by pretending to be part of the team, as well as the whole counting pixels story. The whole "Hoonicorn vs The World" series has been a lot of fun. The one where he raced the fastest Audi RS3 was awesome.

In reply to STM317 :

It's a wiggins clamp I believe. They're meant to allow a good bit of play, not sure if that much.

Forcing the Audi to run DOT tires was kinda stupid imo.

I get not wanting to run on a prepped surface where it would a) probably break and b) get stomped by drag cars, but it's not a street car like the Audi is, why does the Audi need street tires?

What's the deal with the huge hp engines and no air filters?  They just really love rebuilds or am I missing something?

If I remember regarding the RS3, they told him to bring street tires, what they meant to say was bring both street tires and slicks.  So that was a misscommunication part, they had that as part of the video.

But yeah, the 4 rotor is pretty awesome.
