Hi all, Basically I need a 'Slicks for Dummies' rundown. I'm attempting to run a set of Hoosier r35a c2500 road racing slicks for the first time at SLMP (a mini-road course) this weekend. Specs are 22.5x10x13 front, 22x9x13 rear, mounted n 13x10 steelies. They came with the car and I stored them deflated over the winter, but now I'm stumped about just how much to inflate them. I'm at 19psi and they feel rock-hard, to the point where I'm nervous to put much more pressure in them. I know warm pressure is more important than cold pressure, but I still need a ballpark. Any help is massively appreciated. Thanks!

I've always gotten pretty good advice from Hoosier … e-mail/call them and tell them which tire (maybe include the age of the tire, and it's condition) plus your car and it's set-up … they can give you some ballpark hot temps to look for

I thought they weren't allowing slicks on cars over 2,500 lbs at SLMP any more.

They're not. My race car doesn't weight much ;)

Including the car you'll be driving helps inform the tire pressures people suggest.
