Hot Rod Drag Week announced

HOT ROD Drag Week dates and tracks announced! 

The 2025 edition of HOT ROD Drag Week 2025 Presented by Gear Vendors is heading back to the Mid-Atlantic region for the second time. There's two new tracks and two that racers have visited before.

Maryland International Raceway, located in Budds Creek, Maryland, will be the host track, before the drag-and-drivers head to Numidia Dragway, Maple Grove Raceway and Cecil County, before returning to Maryland.

Maryland International Raceway (Budds Creek, Maryland) Day 1 Racing – Monday, Sept. 15 Maryland International Raceway (Budds Creek, Maryland)

Day 2 Racing – Tuesday, Sept. 16 Numidia Dragway (Numidia, Pennsylvania)

Day 3 Racing – Wednesday, Sept. 17 Maple Grove Raceway (Reading, Pennsylvania)

Day 4 Racing – Thursday, Sept. 18 Cecil County Dragway (Rising Sun, Maryland)

Day 5 Racing (Finals) – Friday, Sept. 19 Maryland International Raceway (Budds Creek, Maryland)

Registration for Hot Rod Drag Week opens in February 2025.
 

That being said, I'll be a passenger princess for this if the ex decides to partake. 2 cars is a lot to manage.

These always sound like a lot of fun.

Budds Creek is an easy drive for me.  Much better than St. Louis.  Once again I tell myself I need to do this.  

Sounds like relatively short drives from one track to the next this time around.

Maple Grove to Cecil is just over 50 miles.  That's seems really short.

Wonder if they stretch the distance with appropriate checkpoints.

There is definitely no shortage of scenic routing available between those two tracks.
