Nice area to be in and the local economy is so heavily supported by the race track (not a whole lot going on in Elkhart Lake) that I doubt you'd ever see the noise complaint crowd get a voice in the area.
That being said you'd have to be a very specific kind of person to pick this house up at $299k, especially considering the market for an identical house not viewing turn 3 is closer to $175-200k.

I think the novelty would wear off quickly. I rent shop space near Andrews AFB (like, it's about a mile as the crow/plane flies from the end of one of the runways).
It's bad enough to be working there and having F-15s and C-130s flying close enough overhead that you can't carry on a conversation. I can't imagine living near there.
If you look at the listing, It's currently setup as an AirBnB/VBRO type property. If I knew of someone who would maintain it, it'd be an interesting proposition. The question is can you really make enough out of it for the weekends that there is racing to cover the costs. My gut says no.
