The price is way out of my league, but the idea isn't.

Well executed hot rod VW in the back of a Fiat 600, what's not to like?

There is a fellow with a turbo VW in a dune buggy that ice races with us (AMEC). Wicked fast.

There was one for sale in Portland for 1600....but the post just expired. Not quite the level of craftsmanship that the red one has though.

What's not to like? It's not a Porsche Turbo Flat 6 back there.

Very, very nicely done. Shows lots of planning and thinking ahead for fitment. First class parts listed on the build. Must be a blast to drive. The price may seem a bit high, but to duplicate what he's done to that level.....

I have seen it done with 850 spiders before.. but never the smaller cars. Looks very good and like it belongs there

They have been stuffing aircooled motors into the back of 600's since the 60's.

As a matter of fact in the early 80's it was a chopped top 600 drag car by the shop "small car specialties" that introduced me to my long time love of rear engine fiats.
