Well, thanks to the recent what car thread from slick dizzy, and $75 I didn't want to pay for a coil pack, I'll be finalizing paperwork this afternoon for a trip into Ohio tomorrow.....for a white Fiat wearing scorpions.
Y'all are a bunch on berkeleying enablers.
Nice! I was pretty close to buying one myself, but struggled to find one without a sunroof (I'm 6'3") and none of the local dealers were willing to work very hard for me. Love the cars but the Fit won out as the more logical "only car" to have. That said, I know I'm gonna have one someday...
I'm going to be at around $15k OTD for a 5k mile non-sunroof car. Only options it has are the 17's and leather sport seats.

Until tomorrow, this will have to do.
Impressive. A $75 repair pushed you into "I'm buying a new car!" I envy you.

I was hoping for Lancia content.
I'll just leave this here so nobody else has to feel disappointed.

That's what I had in mind too...then I started reading the comments thinking "Damn, $15k ought to buy the most incredible specimen in existence!!!"

The amusing thing is that it comes with the balance of the factory warranty, which is 2.5yrs, 45k miles.....versus the fiST new at $25k with 3yrs, 36k miles.
Maybe the rag that used to be C&D was right, the Abarth just needed enough of a discount.
Come spring it'll have a Madness exhaust for glorious half an F40 exhaust noises....
Nice. Are you going to autocross it? I just bought a turbo 500 fiat and it seemed like the Abarth begs to be auto crossed.
You did real good on the price... And with the perfect options for an Abarth imo. My decision was either -
Abarth ($15k out the door) - no sunroof, only leather, 17" rims (great looking wheels). Better Autocross
500T ($12k out the door) - sunroof, leather, bose. Better DD
If that doesn't make you smile, you're on the wrong message board.

screaming deal
I have no idea what you even drive, Andy.
Also, I hate you.

That right there is exactly how I would have ordered one, but those exact copies I found either had 40k miles or had too high of an asking price. I'll be driving 3hrs to Columbus, OH for this one.
And yes, this car will see intermittent G-Street autox usage. My 318ti and sho swapped pulsar NX will be the regular abuseesvhowever.
But I'd autox a van if given the opportunity, so there's that.
In reply to Esoteric Nixon:
Up until it decided it didn't want to run on Tuesday, a beater '01 zx3 auto I've owned twice since 2004....it was also the car I learned to autox with.

WTF, 4 separate pieces of glass per side for a 2 door? Lots of disjointed angles going on there too.
And yet, somehow, it still looks like pure sex

Great new user name.
I thought it would take the edge off of me sounding like the E36 M3 I post on here was serious....
This is one of the rare occurances at being serious, I can still walk if the condition isn't right, but I HAZ a check in hand.
Cute car. What is the turtle I this saga? "It is in my nature!?"
