that is not true at all. i have run 4L60-e's over 240k with no rebuild and outlast the truck they were in. the suburban i just sold has 189k now and it has never been touched.

the opposite is my new avalanche, which has receipts and records for a full trans overhaul at 92k.

I am not wrong in the slightest, nor are the tens of thousands of these trucks that have this issue. I've ran 4l60e's to 500,000kms and they've been fine, and I've had them go at 180,000kms. The interwebs backs up my claims. 700r4's/4l60es being toast are the gm version of 5.4 tritons spitting spark plugs. You, are wrong. Period (since you decided to get all up in my grill about it).
