This is gonna be the jam on the commute attack mr2 barchetta right? Or am I delusional?
I'm planning on some minimalist flares (overfenders), a small diffuser, flat underbody and a front lip with splitter. Something like this only sans windshield and top. Similar wheel fitment (only real te37s, I hate fake wheels). I think especially with no windshield or roof I'll mount the wing much lower. The one I'm looking at appears by my math to be approx 8" from mounting point to bottom of the wing.
The only person in my group of friends that has any aero at all has an acr extreme aero. He will still have more wang than me but I am very excited about the purchase.
What are using for your flat underbody?
I vote the more wang the better. If you aren't at 20* AoA, you aren't driving hard enough IMO. I agree, wind shields and fake wheels are for poseurs
Her lady of immaculate downforce attached a cesna wing to their lemons racer so....I'm going to go with there's no such thing as too much wing...ever

I'd be prepared to raise it up... or just have an idea about doing that. The hardtop car has the benefit of the hardtop pulling 'cleanish' air to the wing. Whereas, sans top, you'll have a big honking cylinder spoiling the flow in to the wing (not including the seats).
"GoPros" and yarn should tell you how good things are working, though... before you start making changes.

Going to fab that as well. I have two rolls of carbon (one straight carbon and one carbon and aramid fiber, a couple gallons of resin and a sheetmetal/machine shop, hopefully that and whatever skills I have will be enough. We'll see.

Might have to add some vortex generators to my head.
