I always wanted to do exactly that with a late-'90s Integra, but a Corvair is more awesomer.

I approve of this build!   I have always thought the drivetrain from a MazdaSpeed3 would be a great swap also.  I even measured it once. They have almost the exact same wheel track.

It's going to get kind of warm back there!  Using the rear side windows as an airflow source is a common solution for the V8 conversions.
