It's not easy, but the owner of this one actually did it. To a 427 model no less.

I would fix it with the 12" wide wheels, giant side pipes and disco era panel paint that the bodywork is crying out for and then drive the wheels off it.
Looks like it was probably done in the 70's when it was just an old car. The front looks like kind of Fiberfab-like.

I was going to criticize it with a silly image from the internet, but I like this idea too.
The nose looks like a Baldwin-Motion Corvette, but I think they only modified C3 cars in that style:
In any case, I assume the modifications to the car were done in the late 1960s or early 1970s, when it was just an old car.
Came in expecting a base c5 with every chrome aftermarket widget taped to it. Left feeling even dirtier.
Like Bravenrace said, I think that might have been a Fiberfab kit. There was a '63 Fuelie for sale around here a few months back that had the same nose. It might even have been a similar color.

Put a 500hp LS engine and a six speed in that and I'd drive it every day.
In reply to Nick_Comstock:
This is one time an LS isn't the right answer. A Big Block with a slightly rich 4 barrel running on race gas. On high school around '93-'94 a customer came into the Corvette shop I worked in. He had a red 65 roadster similar to that one but with original headlights. The shop owner wanted him to restore it but the guy had to much fun driving it. We did some badly needed Maintainance and he loved the thing. He let me play with it a few times and it was easily the most fun car we had there. By keeping the chips and scratches he also didn't have to feel bad about beating on it.
