yeah yeah, lowrider stancey VW stuff.

On my DD Golf TDI (2011, mk6 chassis), I got a set of H&R Ultra Low coilovers on the cheap, because the rear shocks (made by bilstein) are shot.

From everything I've read, H&R will not sell parts separately (only sell the $1300 complete coilover set). I've also read that as of the end of last year, Bilstein will no longer rebuild H&R Ultra Low components in house.

Ugh. I'm not original owner, no warranty, etc.

Since it's a substantial drop spring (2-3" range), I'm hesitant to buy other "sport" shocks off the shelf.

Anybody know a shop that will rebuild the rear shocks? ...or come up with a reasonable body length match?

I don't need a race precise rate match/etc., just a proper matched height shock to run low on the daily without bottoming or bouncing all over.
