Ah, GMC version of the Blazer-Chalet. Almost traded my 81 K5 for a 77 Chalet many years ago, 1987 to be specific. Didn't because of the work needed inside the camper. Needed a fridge, stove and that catalytic heater they have. The rear door was sprung also and that I saw was specific to the Chalet (and Casa Grande).
At least now I won the ONLY Ebay auction for the missing wheelwell molding....

Hey you don't have a Yugo.
You're having that hard of a time finding Yugo parts?
WAAAHHHHHH!
Try finding Packard twelve parts or Model J Duesenberg stuff and get back to me.
Yay, $1000 wiper motors.
How about $75-$150 for a headlight bulb if you can find it?
There's reproduction parts for some stuff. How does a $4000 ring and pinion sound?
There's no such thing as new Packard 12 distributor caps.
Sheetmetal can be made by someone with the correct skill.
Cap and rotor, vacuum wiper motors, wheel cylinders, anything like that requires a significant investment in casting tooling and if you're making one, you might as well make 1000.
When we did the 1930 Lincoln KA Coupe, we discovered that all the guys who own one can sit at one dinner table, together. They all know each other and they set the price for the parts.
Bah, try restoring a Lancia Beta Coupe not once, but twice. The second time we needed new brake calipers. Had to wait 2 years for one to be found in a warehouse in India.
Still have and love that car though...

I can get alot of what I need for my 80' BMW. Very few things are unobtanium. Although I think in the next decade or so the oem parts from BMW are going to start drying up.
I have an 80's bmw too and it looks like parts for these may actually be getting produced again if you can believe bmw. we may get lucky here.
