Nice and subtle with the stock color wheels:

Did not know these existed. And the price is nice...

Well around here Trailblazers are a dime a dozen. I may keep the Durango as a tow pig, because that's all it's worth anymore.

I see the Saabs pop up from time to time, so it would be worth looking into.

OTOH, I may just get her a Cute Ute to get reasonable gas mileage.

I keep thinking Trailblazers are much nicer than Durangos and would probably be a much better tow vehicle than a Durango.

Then one comes in for service, and all sorts of money happens. The cars nickel and dime you except that it's more like Grants and Benjamins. Constantly eating front end parts and brakes and stab links and trans cooler lines and power steering lines and my favorite is the electronically controlled, belt driven fan, which is far more difficult to deal with than it really should be.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Durango. I have a 2003 which is the last year of the 1st gen. Yeah the interior is low rent and I've already had the transmission rebuilt, but it's been almost dead nuts reliable.

It's good to know that about Trailblazers though. I personally think the suspension is too soft.

An SS trailblazer with SAAB trim just seems wrong. I would rather have an honest vehicle with the chevy name on it.

Regardless of the name, I think it looks cool with the black rims but I would also black out the grill.

Don't get ME wrong, I used a friend's Durango as a tow vehicle and the nicest thing that I can say about it is that he let me borrow it any time I needed to. Aside from that, it was a device for converting fuel into frustration. Frustratingly underpowered and cramped, mainly.

Ditto, and I love the stealth idea of the Saab, a great big SS on the back of your Chubby and everyone knows what you have. The Saab is a Q ship.
