That is very clean.
While I don't want to own it I would give it a thumbs up if I saw it on the street.
I'd give it a thumbs up especially after seeing huge clouds of diesel smoke coming out of the front fender.

no....much easier.
Am I the only one that think they ruined the paint? If the rest of the car was like the roof, it would be very nice.
Satin black on a '65 Caddy, wide whitewalls - we have that exact car here in town. The funny thing is that a friend of mine wanted to buy my parts '66 and put a Caterpillar engine in it...

The listing says it's "Hotrod Black". That's what the shop that painted my Capri used on the satin parts. They said it shot pretty easily. Sure looks awesome.

+1:38?
None the less, that thing makes a lot of noise to go that slowly.

I agree. I don't get the whole flat black paint deal, especially on what appears to be a nice car.
I need me a slammed caddy, or a slammed Continental with the suicide doors. That look is just amazing.
Awesome! That's my car, minus a couple of doors! I don't think they need to be slammed, though. They already look long and low - and you can drive them.
Big old Cadillac trivia: Everyone will know it's a Cadillac, but nobody will ever guess the year right. Even a guy with a '65 couldn't figure my car was a '66 - they're the only two years to use that body, and the differences are easy enough to spot. Hint, check the front side light in the black and green cars. Nobody at all can guess. And everyone will make a "dead body in the trunk" joke.
I saw a really we preserved silver Cadillac of that vintage parked in a driveway a couple of years ago. I remember looking at and thinking that it could be a very nice, and halfway efficient, cruiser with a new Duramax diesel swaped into it. Then I thought if I ran it on biodiesel then I would have a "Bio-hoopty.'"

indeed. Diesel smoke is just unburnt fuel. If they could figure out how to burn it, the car would go faster.
I have long thought one of these would be a freaking cool tow vehicle.
Think about it. What does a good tow vehicle need?
long wheel base:..check
Lot of mass:.........check
Big engine............check, double check if you swap in the diesel

brakes and a sway killing suspension
I really hate how much nasty noise it makes.
Honestly, if it had a full, semi-quiet/normal exhaust, it would be way cooler.
that thing just oozes nasty and pure, unadulterated badass. even if it does make a horrendous amount of noise when it's moving at the speed of mosey, and that noise it makes isn't even a good one
