I wanted to post a picture of a well-modified one, but there were a few pictures of stock ones, and then lots of cars that were either stanced to ridiculosity, and/or goofy-looking driftmonsters... I'm not sure I saw a single sane wheel/tire package.
Passed a 3rd gen/A60 Celica last night going the opposite direction a few blocks from my house.
It had stupid negative camber, no front bumper to show off the intercooler, etc, etc... But still, something about it really caught my attention.
But they're probably rare, drift-taxed, impossible to get parts for, right?
As in, there's a reason that for all the chassis codes thrown around here at GRM, A60 doesn't even ring any bells.
Oh, and any surviving bits in junkyards probably get snapped up for Supras, right? And only the GT-S has IRS, and there are probably six of those left in the U.S.?
'80s Japanese cars really aren't my bag, (baby) but that sure got my attention...

In reply to ransom:
We have an '85 GTS convertible (auto) sitting under a cover in CT. Needs a lot of work and last time it ran my sister overheated it and I'm pretty positive she did a lot of damage since she soldiered on a few miles before wising up and shutting it down. Been under a cover for years. BUT, it's such a great looking car, especially with the top down. Can't pull ourselves to be rid of it.

I don't think too many of them survived the epidemic rust long enough to get noticed by the dorifto community.
That looks like the same chassis as Tom Celica:

The car you linked to looks pretty good for $1300. I don't really get the "needs to be restored to look good" bit in the advert. I guess the interior isn't so hot but it's not horrible looking from the one picture shown.
Weekend of detailing and a seat swap later and I wonder what it'd be like to spend time in.
