My head says I shouldn't like this, and makes me want to mutter phrases involving swine and cosmetics, but I can't deny there's a slight tingle in my [Clarkston] wedding veg [/Clarkston].
Who's right, my brain or my...you know...

not bad looking at all.. somebody needs to remove the front engine and stuff a suby engine in the back driving the rear wheels though
These pictures don't show the back end with it's "stolen from an Audi" tail lights.
When pictures of the New, New Beetle first showed up on another website, I made the comment then, which I still stand by, that all things considered they should have moved on and done a NEW Karman Ghia. I mean, this car appears to have a chopped top, compared to it's predecessor, and the tail lights no longer have any relations to older beetles, so why not REALLY re-do what is now a tired concept?
The dashboard/instument panel looks ...? Just not crazy about it.
because the targeted buying audience has no idea what a karman ghia is... but every kid knows what a classic beetle bug is... even though they aren't around like they used to be....
I dig it... especially this side view
then again I liked the original new bug... not something I would run out and buy but I liked it

put an old 911 whale tale on it and the tuners will love you.
I like it....wish they were still rear engine and air cooled though AND RWD....man a fwd Beetle just doesn't seem right.

An air-cooled engine in a modern car doesnt seem right either.
