Excellent choice. Needs less ground clearance.

Awesome car. I had an '06, though without the power hardtop. They feel quite different than the NA Miata, but as a daily driver, they're a ton of fun. If you can get it for $12k, that would be a great deal.

Definitely. There's a similar 2010 car in silver w/ 29K miles for sale locally for $22K.

If the plan is to flip it in the Fall, leave it stock... but you already know that.

You appear to have the elusive 4x4 Meeyatta.

Thats exactly what i plan to do. No lowering no turning wrenches on it. I like how it looks. I'm not changing a thing the next owner can do that if they want

Very nice, I don't generally like the look of the power hard tops, but it really works in that blue.

Looks great to me (ride height and all). I need you to teach me how to deal. I'm terrible at it.

making a deal on a car like this is easy CASH TALKS it really does. when you are talking over 5k most people have to go get a loan for the car and most of those people will buy from a dealer when you see cars in the 10k to 20k price range on CL that is where some of the great deals are. if something in that range catches my eye my first question is "do you have the title or does the bank?" if the bank does most of the time i walk away because they most likely owe more than i am willing to pay......most people have not seen 10k in cash before and then if you use 20's or 50's that is a nice stack of money and i have seen many eyes get big

I discovered a couple months ago when I picked up my van that there's also a lot of opportunity in the sub-$5k/over 10 years old market. Around here, while quite a few may have a grand or 2 cash, not that many have $3-$5k - or if they do, they're not looking for cheap old cars. Yet most banks won't loan on anything that old/cheap, or if they do, it's over 10% interest!

And yes, cash talks.
