True...all depends on frequency of use and budget.

On my DD I usually go with the chain store Gold "lifetime" pads, so I just get the tool and buy new pads, do the install, and then return the tool and used pads for the refund.

My 86 900 has screw in pistons on the front. Have to use a special tool that I bought from Saab 12 yrs ago.
