My nephew stopped over today and he told me his cousin just bought a race car this week.....

This is the 4th person to buy a race car because of me...might have a couple of others next month to see....and I am not even racing right now.

I know some of you might have seen posts about Wilmot Raceway where I do track photography for a local 1/3 dirt oval in Wisconsin.

Well, I started with getting my nephew as a pit crew 2 years ago. Last year though horse trading he built a Saturn for the bandit class we run. FWD or RWD 4 bangers. End of season one of his pit crew went and bought a car.

Last week gets home from basic training for Natural Guard and go ands buys a new car and trailer, He is putting his dad in the Saturn, he is running a neon. The other guy bought a 90's Nilsson sentra. His cousin just bought a 2010 Ford fusion this week for the track.....

I was talking to a couple of guys that I had to give a ride to the Chicago auto show on the last day and one of them was very much wanting to build a car....

So I am doing my best to build up the cheap class with lots of drivers and cars this year. I love being the cause of people spending money on toys....

I just convinced a buddy to buy a total pos to have fun with. It's great, he learn my tips and tricks and he's taking the initiative to learn carb stuff.

Gonna be a fun time

I've been looking but it seems like "all" the FWD 4 cylinder cars (IMCA Sport Compacts) are in the Midwest and on FarceBook. I'm in/on neither of those, but I'm willing to travel some, but arranging a deal hasn't been easy.

It's worth getting on FB Marketplace, I think five years from now we will forget that Craigslist is even a thing.

I found this on FB on Wednesday, five miles from my house.  By yesterday it was in my driveway.  I basically paid what a roll cage, safety gear and a hard top would have cost, and the buyer threw in a strong running Answer for nothing.
