heh, ask any spec meotter - $7500 gets a somewhat ratty 1990, double that for a pro built :) these are fairly stock cars that use off the shelf discount parts.

Ask a Spec Boxster driver. 30K for a decent prep on what is basically an 11K car... Damn they are fun though.
