That would be cool and as muscle cars go, not horribly expensive. You can still find 3rd gen Chargers for reasonable money vs. 2nd gen cars.

This was for sale at a past Atlanta Dragway swapmeet. Seller said that it ran in the National Vintage Racing Association. Had a flathead for power. There are some pretty unusual cars racing together. I will post up a few from the site. http://www.nvraracing.org/
