No way even here in KY can I find a gem like this....
Even though its not rusty, it still manages to be clapped out. Is the engine in the bed? couple hundred....maybe.
I moved to NC in the early 90's. We pulled a 40 year old car out of the woods and you could still crack the brake bleeder screws loose. Try that on any car over 5 years old up north. I just wish I had more time to look around some of these small towns and back roads. There's still treasure to be found out there.

K5s rust down here too. Pretty sure they came from the factory rusted.
You couldn't give me a northern car.
I keep looking at those images and my Canadian mind can't comprehend what they're seeing.
Is that a new Ranger? Did they start making them again?
What's all that green stuff around it? What are you doing outside in March?

Sure, we have plenty of old cars wtih perfect sheetmetal. You'll spend all your restoration dollars on everything soft... upholstery, door cards, weatherstripping, dashboards... But at least the suspension will be easy to replace!
So, you get a southwestern car with baked soft parts and get a northern rust bucket with perfect interior and seals. Some assembly required.

Only if you can find one.... Past 10 yrs, it probably has been crushed in the north.

Not really. You can find 20 year old stuff, but the exterior will be rough. I just looked up K% Blazer, because it had been mentioned, and found a half a dozen in a few minutes.Old trucks are pretty easy to find components for, even if you have to go to places like LMC or NPD.
My 92 S-10 is that clean and was bought in E-town and driven home. Just needs some paint, since what the south giveth the south also taketh away.
