As I am out of touch currently, a friend of mine wanted me to recommend to her a new car. Criteria are sub $20k, good milage, and well.....thats about it.
Thus far she has hated the idea of the Fiesta(I was sad panda by this), and is on the fence about the Honda Fit......either way, what am I missing here?
Dodge Dart? They seem to drive decently and have one of the nicest interiors in the class IMHO.
The Kia Forte isn't bad but hopefully the dealership is better in your area then mine. The Hyundai Elantra seems to be a lot like the Forte to me. I would skip the Rio and Accent. I didn't like either.
I like the 500 but the interior makes me wonder how it would hold up.
Honestly I liked the 500 the best but would probably recommend the Dart, Mazda3 or Elantra to anyone else.
- Chevrolet Cruze
- Chevrolet Sonic
- Chevrolet Spark
- Dodge Avenger
- Dodge Dart
- FIAT 500
- FIAT 500L
- Ford Fiesta
- Ford Focus
- Honda Civic
- Honda CR-Z
- Honda Fit
- Honda Insight
- Hyundai Accent
- Hyundai Elantra
- Hyundai Veloster
- KIA Forte
- KIA Rio
- KIA Soul
- Mazda2
- Mazda3
- MINI Cooper hatch
- Mitsubishi Lancer
- Nissan Cube
- Nissan Juke
- Nissan Sentra
- Nissan Versa
- Scion iQ
- Scion tC
- Scion xB
- Scion xD
- smart fortwo
- Subaru Impreza
- Toyota Corolla
- Toyota Matrix
- Toyota Prius C
- Toyota Yaris
- VW Beetle
- VW Golf
- VW Jetta
I'd go with the Mazda2, the Dart, the Cruze, or the Mazda3 (even though it is the outgoing older model).
The ford focus is a lot more car than the fiesta for only a little bit more money. My wife hated the dart we tested we are going to check out a forte sometime this week.

Thanks Javi........I knew someone would post the massive list sooner or later
Also, she's single with zero kiddos......and thanks to me, has a running, driving, and NOT KNOCKING '05 cobalt to trade in.....
Nepa, I almost made her drive my parent's '12 fukus.....I think she'd like it.
We love our Fit. It's been very comfortable, practical, economical and reliable over the last 4.5-years/110kmi.

We're coming up on 14k miles with our '12 Fiat 500 with no problems and no complaints.

I mentioned the Fit as its resale is insanely good.
Single? No kids? If she isn't planning on changing that 2nd part, FIAT 500 all the way!
Another vote for fiat 500, dodge dart or Chevy sonic.
