It's missing a rear bumper but the rest is pretty cool.
In reply to stuart in mn:
I actually dig the no rear-bumper look.
Too bad I can't afford a drift-taxed 240 and won't pay that sort of money for the bodykit.

I like it. The front looks like Dodge may sue somebody over it and the rear is unfinished, but it has a lot of potential.
I'll take one in metallic blue please
I dig it. Good luck finding a suitable s14 to put it on though.
In reply to HappyAndy:
I dunno. Every S14 around here already has a smacked up front end held together with zip ties. This would at least fix that part.

I agree, something should be done about the rear of the car. I've been looking for something that has the look of a vintage car, v8, with a much updated chassis and IRS. My buddy just sent me the link this morning.
Looks far better than any Cuda. Purists move on. Yes the back end needs finished but otherwise looks awesome, some angles remind me of a 6M .
Actually the first thing the front end reminded me of was an Alfa GTV. Just put another pair of round lights in...

Except then they would have to smack this expensive body kit up on purpose and put that back together with zipties, if they want to maintain any cred whatsoever.
Finding a clean S14 is unpossibru. Also, I approve, this is awesome.
That is super HAWT! Initially I was confused, was thinking US model 200sx and going WTF? Then the pics made me remember JDM was the US 240sx...drift tax has taken these from my mind for years.
A basic '70 Barracuda in good shape will set you back about $50k
What's an unberkeleyed 240SX + body kit + finishing add up to?
Why not just spend the $50 and have the real thing?
I like the concept of taking off the generic sloped noses on modern cars and putting something retro on instead. Now, someone come up with a car to make look like that Alfa. I once looked at a Ford Probe in a junkyard that was missing the nose cover. It kinda reminded me of an Alfa.

I know where at least 3 are right now. And I shall take that secret to my grave. Or at least to the bank.

GRM company excluded, have you MET Mopar guys? They make Carlisle Corvette guys look like the rednecks at a mudhole. You have to hang out with them if you bought one.

A. There's no way a nice 97-99 240sx + body kit + LS1 + T56 + swap kit + wheels and tires + whatever else you wanted to add to the suspension would cost close to $50k.
B. You'd spend over $50k getting that Plymouth to handle as well as the S15 platform.
C. I'd rather ball up an S14 with a body kit than a classic cuda.

The 100 pt resto crowd is bad in general, but the 100 pt resto mopar guys can be real shiny happy people and they generally refuse to let other mopar products come and play in their little shows and such. They're still riding that "remember when that 'cuda sold for 2mil" high, even though that was a fluke and that car instantly dropped in value the minute that check was written.
Paint and body will eat up $10k in a heartbeat.
It's not hard to eat up the rest with a clean 240SX, labour and parts.
So, you'd still put all that time, effort and money out to end up with a car that is almost worthless?
I'll never understand kit cars.
Hemi 'Cudas and Barracudas are different animals. Who really cares if you wad up a slant 6 Barracuda?

At the very least. Every local shop around here is quoting us 15-18K for full resprays
