I'm running low on projects. Sold this year's challenge car, sold my ZAV (73 ford bronco), porsche targa is going for sale in a couple of weeks and my triumph daytona is going away. The MG only really needs a couple of tweaks, cheaper shocks/wheels and tires to be ready for testing it out/$2011

I've got some regrettable ideas. What sounds more interesting.... bmw 2002 w/m20 - perhaps turbo swap, triumph tr3/4/6/MGA (starting with very crusty donor and do drivetrain swap, locost, locost as a monoposto, do another engine swapped mgb, offroad tube buggy??? The constraint is that the challenge should be an option for it.

I feel your pain.

Looking/thinking about: 1977 V8 Mustang (but an automatic-blah); 1976 TR7 w/V6 (but an automatic -again, blah); 1972 142s that's sat for some years; that 1973 Capri about 3 hours from me...

I'm really, really trying to be patient figuring somthing with a stick that I'd prefer will show up, but with an empty garage staring back at me I'm starting to get the jitters...

Your 2002 idea sounds interesting.

Not sure how I could pull that off for $2k. TR4 is one of the few cars I wish I had back - add tubes and something ridiculous for a drivetrain...Someone asked before about a TR3 - even the projects are spendy but there are some remnants of parts cars that could be a start.

I sent these to my dad as well. I'd love to have one of them. The Ford has no engine based on a second ad posted.

I also vote for the BMW 2002 with a turbo M42, only because I want one really bad.

I like the turbo 2002 idea but I would use the good old M10, that motor is glorious.

I have a freshly rebuilt M10 head I'll sell for a song if you go that route.
