...and has a crackhead price. Any idea what the modder was thinking?
Looks like it had a small block chevy and automatic in it judging by the mounts.
I don't like Porsches and even i think this is a damn shame.
So, that seems about right for an air cooled Porsche, doesn't it? Todays market, a guy should be able to put a couple of hundred thousand into it, and have some airtard pay double that.
Airtard. I think that may catch on.
That might be worth $4000-4500. Maybe less. Depends what the panels and trim are worth. I don't know much about parting out $40,000 cars.
I'd also like to know what the hell is going on with the car right next to it in the first pic......
there is a lot wrong with that car besides the obvious. The headlights are wrong, the rear bumper and reflector are too new, the mirrors are too new, and it was/is a sportamatic.
Granted, once you are done fixing the huge hole in the firewall and floor, those are trivial matters, but somebody tried to make it look more "modern". Thankfully they did not cut off the bottoms of the front fenders to fit the 5mph bumpers too
Still has one wheel, steering wheel, most of some of the body panels, glass and a VIN. I expect it will be on BaT here in a few hours talking about what a steal it is. (Or have they finally stopped posting every E36 M3 box air-cooled 911 for sale in the country?)
I'll never forget the exact post which stopped me from frequenting BaT daily:
Even with the insane prices of long hood 911s, that is a stupid price. There is not much to even part out. The front end sheet metal, doors, quarters, roof and rear deck lid. That is if they aren't too rusty. Whatever is left of the suspension not worth much. And with the floorpan gone I can't imagine trying to put it back together. Tube frame race car?
