the difference there is that I'd be deeply saddened by the loss of a '8 Shelby Mustang, the GTR not so much. Plus the typical GTR fanboi probably thinks that you can just hit reset and get another one.
I have always wanted one of the new GTR's. It is on my bucket list. Seeing that crash and seeing that he "walked away" makes me want one even more. Nissan should be commended for building such a great car. That dude should be sending something to the engineers that spent all those hours designing that car.
While it looked cool, that really wasn't a very significant impact. Offset to the right, pole that sheared off...I agree its better in a GTR than a Mustang, but I bet the driver in the old Mustang would be ok too. Passenger, maybe not so much.
