Old Dog Warning May result in a tear or two, if you're a dog person like myself.
Lots of good car-trivia material though. ID the protagonist's car.

Late 50s chevy pickup?
Another excuse to post one of my favorite songs. This car is a no brainer for folks of your ilk.

First appearance at the 10 second mark.

That 442 was a year old car when Chicago Transit Authority was released. And old enough to drive itself when Chicago 17 was released.
ok, time to drop some euro music, where there's a bit more of a challenge
but this one to start is easy and awesome.
around the 45-second mark

and another euro band (hint: from Sweden, I think) that might be a tough one (I certainly don't know it)

in the first 30 seconds, but a good side shot right at the end.
No trouble guessing on this one:
"You boys come here to race, or just kiss?".
Cool song. Cool car. Not such a great video.
John in Kansas, Thanks for the link to the Noisettes. Great video, even better song, and Shingai Shoniwa is just gorgeous.
No trouble guessing this one either, but what model is the car at the very end?

Hmm... That's a '64-'66 Ford F100, but the specifics are in the nose (as far as I could find, anyway). 64's had turn signals between the headlights where 65 and 66 had them above the headlights. 65 had a plain egg-crate grille, 66 had egg-crate below with a pair of horizontal slots above (my wife calls that a "pencil moustache").

Appears to be a 1966 F-250 Custom Cab, painted Marlin Blue.
"Swamp Devil" 60's MOPAR, maybe a Road Runner?
Two great bands, two great cars, although the second one might not technically be a car at all . . .
Ignore the stupid movie clips spliced in . . .
