only one FWD car signed up for the 18th event (in stock class), and the RWD classes are 3 e30s and 2 rx7s (and then a million subarus in awd). Anyhow, just a heads up if anyone wants to bring out your GRM beater and do some damage. I think at least 3 or 4 of us on here will be running.
Also trying to get more people signed up - right now we have 26, but if we get over 30 we run the "big course"

damn I wish it was closer. I'd take the kia out for sure lol
Nine hour drive for me.
Other wise I'd bring the Lemons car up and give it a try.
Anyone run these closer to South Carolina.
Also too far, I've been thinking the Lexus would be fun to rallycross.

Uh, yes... as an alternative, if you're a bit further south on the Atlantic side, there's a big 2 day rallycross event in April at the European Rally School here in Florida: http://www.rallyflorida.org/news/article/41
5.5 hours from Columbia.

As a follow up to this and to stop clogging up irish44j's build thread.
We ended up with 51 people running at the event.

Wish I still had my Grand Marquis kicking around for things like this.
Anyone need a co-driver? lol
Looks like a bunch of fun!

In reply to BobOfTheFuture:
I think I can make that. Only wish I had dirt tires, cause I'm not sure if studs are legal.
I'm not sure about studs, Ask them, its only a farmers field they may not care.
Im running some old snow (studless) tires too. If the neon runs a similar wheel maybe we will do the crazy swap, as long as your car isnt in M we ought to have time.
Hope to see you there! Have you been to that event before?

Been a few years since I was over there for a Rally-X. Is this on the course outside Turn 10 on Main or across the road near the old barn?

Thanks for the info. I had been over a couple of times to watch. One time they were running the "big course" and once a shortened version with the paddock in the trees at the lower left of the pic.
Also was over once with some Stage Rally guys who had rented the area for "test and tune". They used a combination of the "barn course" and the "gravel course" but I don't remember any gravel at that time.

There is not actually much gravel on the gravel course. I am not exactly sure why we call it that but we do.
This is the "Gravel course"

Don't know if you want me to come spectate. Every time I've been there it was more like Mud-X than Rally-X
