did you read the comments? I loved the one kid/troll who is arguing that the NSX is nothing special because it is not as fast as a Porsche turbo

YouTube comments have to be the stupidest corner of the internet.

And for the record, I wanted an NSX before I saw this video, and it certainly ain't helping.

well. I was referring to the comments at Jalopnik. The kid/troll there was saying that NSX is not worthy of the respect it gets and that it was not groundbreaking and there was nothing new or revolutionary about it..

total by the numbers 16y/o. He read about the car somewhere and decided it was not worthy

wait, there are people who didn't want an NSX before seeing that video???

those people deserve for many bad things to happen to them for such heresy.

If anyone ever gets the chance to drive one take it, they are amazing cars. Especially for what they sell for nowadays.

I love mine.

Damn you all! So what is there to know about them? What year/options/etc do I want? I can't afford a real recent version, but an older one might work.

Not really any options, all of the years are basically the same performance wise, it would really come down to the driver in any kind of competition

91-94 NA1 coupes, cheapest and lightest, 5 speed, 3 liter

95-96 NA1 targas, cheapest targas, not a whole lot more than the 91-94 coupes, 5 speed, 3 liter, technically the slowest of all the years since they have the extra weight of the targa but the smaller engine

97-01 NA2 all but a small handful are targas, 6 speed, 3.2 liter, bigger brakes

02-05 NA2 most expensive, very few made, same as 97-01 but has the facelift, all targas

Thanks e_pie. How much is a driver condition 91-94 going to cost me?

Fixer uppers can be had for a hair under $20k if you have the patience.

A decent high mileage runner will be low $20k.

Low mileage you'd be looking at mid/upper 20's.

Also, white demands about a $3-5k premium, red and black are the most common and usually cheapest.

There was an issue with the "snap ring" in the early models, some ads will say out of "snap ring" range.

Really, you don't want an NSX. Buy a Z06 and be happy. That way you won't drive up NSX prices for me. :-)

If anyone wants an NSX but really can't afford one, an S2K drives really really similar to one and you can get those for ridiculously affordable prices now.
