my 510 fantasy includes a Bluebird SSS 2 dr coupe chassis from Japan, all the corrective suspension goodies, the 280 brakes, and a worked SR20DE, with the S15 6 speed........

Good to see the appreciation for getting to drive a car with that much heritage. Also glad to hear that another younger driver finds manual brakes....less than confidence-inspiring.

Makes me wonder if passing under braking in vintage racing was a strategic or opportunistic move.

I'm pretty sure the bre 510 ran the 5 speed from the roadsters as the 240z did not come with a 5 speed, at least not in the states

Oh and those switches he had no clue what they functioned?

One of them was the wipers. On one of the roof shots, you can see the caps where the wiper arm connects moving back and forth.
