There are some BMW specific nods as Easter eggs in the design too. Not sure if anyone noticed or not...
To close the loop on this one, here is the original design I submitted to Blipshift:
The "save the pixels" part is in a pixel font that matches the one found in the message center, but it doesn't look like that in the uploaded image.
They felt the message center was recognizable enough without the dash gauges, so we took that all out.
In the end, this whole thing was a very enjoyable experience. And I'm sure I'll submit more designs at some point.
