So we talked about what we can import now, what should we be saving up to import in the future? I personally can't wait for an turbo ls swapped tvr sagaris. But what are you saving up to import?
Let the madness begin!

Why the hell would you swap an LS into a Sagaris? The engine it comes with is incredible. Now parts availability might be a consideration...
Exactly, parts availability and notorious reliability issues with the six. ls is a common swap. If it was reliable I'd be happy with the speed six motor, especially blown (as some sagari are). Funny, I just checked in on the ft1 thread and noticed a sagaris reference there, you know a forum is awesome when cars as obscure as that come up twice in 24 hrs!
I've built a "US version" in my head several times out of a couple half cuts and a ST204, but I really want the real thing.
Also, a little more, pedestrian, but one of these too.
But, this, with 4motion, and a manual of course.
Why we can't get it here is beyond me.
While I'm on the subject, one these too:

IIRC Al Melling(?), who designed the engine offers some modifications to make it reliable.
If I'd go through the trouble of importing one, I'd keep the original engine with those improvements.

Forza 5 has this in it. I changed all the body work back to USDM.
Man, I'd hate to sound unimaginative, but I'm with Dave and SBF on that S8 RX-7.
I saw my first 3rd gen in Forest Green when I was 19 and have been madly in love ever since.
I guess there are quite a few things I'd like to import, even pre-'88 things that are legal now. Sadly, my area requires smog checks back to 1967, and most of those off-shore cars won't pass.
If I could import anything it would be a FD RX7 because you can get them for like $8000 or less in JDM land.
