Exactly, parts availability and notorious reliability issues with the six. ls is a common swap. If it was reliable I'd be happy with the speed six motor, especially blown (as some sagari are). Funny, I just checked in on the ft1 thread and noticed a sagaris reference there, you know a forum is awesome when cars as obscure as that come up twice in 24 hrs!
Its one of my all time favorite cars, but then again I'm a TVR guy. As far as the engine, I'd stick with the TVR six, because no LS EVER sounded as good.

I'd swap Chevy Cavalier badges onto it.
Remove RS500 badging and replace with Merkur. Hee Hee Hee
Replace "22B" with "L" badge.
I'd just add a "Baby on Board" sticker...
The car I'd like most to import would be a CWR Titan, but it's not old.

OK, a little outside of the box. (Or rather, it is a box.) But I love the People Carriers we can't get here.

While I'm on the subject, one these too:
As one of the largest car manufactures in the world, I have not figured out why VW does not market a truck here in the US
I read somewhere that it is as big as a Tacoma but the base price would be around $30k, so they think that no one will buy them.
I'd just like to say that you all have impeccable taste and my top choices were posted on the very first page.
Agree with the Amarok -- and why oh why VW u no bring this stateside:

Just five more years...
Hmm, looks like some of these are already legal for import.
I know. Maybe I should email the guy who bought it from me in five years' time .

+1, with diesel and 6 spd manual, please.
Also, one of these:
M-B Sprinter 4WD with 6 spd manual. However, while searching for this picture, I see there are tentative plans to bring the 4WD version to the US in 2015. While I know it'll be a cold day in hell before we get the manual trans versions, I could see me possibly getting one of these for my planned RV conversion.

Some of them are, I was looking into that last year. The problem is that legal ones that don't need a ton of work are hard to find. Most people I know in the UK who bought a Se7en of that age ended taking it to bits and redoing the car.
Marcos TSO.
Not that I could afford one or that anyone in the world could find parts for it.

Tim, you were in the UK long enough. That's a GTM kit car, so you can import one and build it yourself now without needing to wait. Although they always struck me as an answer to a question that didn't need asking with the existence of the first gen Elise.

Its an "Import an Anything" thread......doesn't matter if you can or can't right now.
Also, I would need one of these

I was just about to post Evo wagon! Also second the GTRs. I don't get all the love for RX7s, they aren't that different but you have RHD to contend with.
