Fanatec just had a deal on their gear drive wheel drive. $200 but you have to buy a wheel and pedals so you are still looking at $800+

Alright, apparently it's time to revisit this. I have AC, have the wheel (Logitech G27), and recently got the shifter, but am still spending my spare time on the truck simulator.
Aircooled has really upped his game on the production quality with this video of last weeks race.
Also a huge thanks to everyone that raced this week. This whole thing only works if people show up. Also the race craft across the board has been excellent. The slower cars having there own battles while still respecting the leaders and the fast guys not just pushing there way through when they come up on slower traffic. Kind of like how it is supposed to be on a real track day.

I have been thinking of upping my game to one of those but it is a bit of $$$. A g27 or a g29 is where I would start with. I currently use a G29 and I am hard pressed to upgrade it.
A new record set for people on track at the same time. 17!!!!
For such a tight track there was very little contact. In the 2nd race, I got to watch some great racing as a couple of the guys went at it for several laps then I was caught by someone else and we had a battle for the last couple of laps that came down to the last corner and a race to the line.
The group getting off the line heading for turn 1
