I'll be free on Sunday for part of the day and am looking to see stuff. Been to the DIA, Greenfield village, an incredibly cool O scale train layout in a former grocery store.
Ideas? Cars and Coffee anywhere?

In all seriousness Henry Ford museum and Greenfield village as well as the Rouge F150 plat tour are right next door in Dearborn. I think they are reopening the Chrysler Museum but that may not be the weekend.

Are you picking up your Sawblades? Do you want to trade a pair of your 8.5's for a pair of 9.5's?
In reply to vwcorvette:
Looks like the next council event is next weekend. Oddly the same day as the Belle Isle Grand Prix...

There's an open track day at Waterford Hills on sunday, about 45 minutes north of downtown.

I will be picking them up. But now I'm not sure if I should use them on the van. To meet rollover I'll need to widen the track and these will need 3 inch spacers just to fit normally.
In the words of Clark W. Griswold "Hey kids, you seeing all this blight? [Hears gunshots and screaming] Roll 'em up."
At 14 Mile and Woodward is a automotive bookstore call AutoZone. Great place to browse. I don't know if they're open on Sundays. They also host a nice Cars and Coffee gathering at sometime during each month.
There is the electronic music festival this weekend. This links to the lineup

The cars and coffee is early on Saturday mornings. It looks like they are closed Sunday.
Movement electronic music festival is HUGE. If that's your bag, you'll have a blast, or enjoy people watching. If not, stay away from the waterfront.
Henry Ford is at the top of the list. The Zoo is very nice but overrun with families on the weekend. Actually just hanging out on Woodward in Royal Oak or Birmingham with some car guys is fun on a Sunday.
