7) Friday and Saturday nights need to be packed. Once you're at capacity, then start building a second track
You cannot raise the rate. It's already too berkeleying expensive for 80% of the population. Gotta go wide.
Raise the Fri/Sat rate. Other nights will be cheaper.

As much as I like karting tracks, (and there is actually an abandoned ghetto-Kroger here in town just about perfect for a track)...I need a local indoor soccer field(s).
I'm going to parrot the parody between karts here.
IIRC, OP is a Detroiter. I've been to K2K a few times. Usually went midday when there was less people and did a few sessions with friends. I haven't been there since they got the new Karts, however,
What always frustrated me was that we'd bring a few guys along with little-to-no performance driving experience. They'd blow right past me because they are 5'5" and 150lbs. I'm 6'4" and 275. No way I can make that disparity up unless they're driving absolutely horribly.
Having TVs/couches out in the lobby to relax at between sessions is fun. Fairly priced food and snacks is a bonus. No $3 for a water bottle.
If you can hold a "meet" there on occasion for local car guys, I think it'd help to build more business.
I know some places offer it, but I'm still up in the air about offering alcohol places. As someone who loves to participate in a lot of different things while intoxicated, driving isn't one of them. Well, maybe whirleyball.
The kart parity is apparently pretty tough according to our local track guys. Even on their opening week when they got all of their karts on the same day, some stood out more than others. They all have seem to have specific traits, despite all being the exact same model. They did say that once every other week or so they have their fastest employee run each kart to see the differences and tweak them accordingly until they are all within 2 tenths of each other.
Search out the guy that ran the "Emod v12 MGB...." and his thread from several years ago. I think he ran a cart track in Winnipeg.(?) He ran Nationals in 2012. You can track him down via that connection as well.

Where is the Cameltoe Inn? I might want to check it out...
The more I think about it, I really like this idea. It would give the league some identity rather than a bunch of guys that just show up to drive.

Just a business idea.. For leagues don't just rely on individuals..
Do what softball does....
Approach local business's and bars..
Have essentially a beer league for karting.. Have the league on the same night every week with; for instance "Cheers" Vs "Gary's Olde Town Tavern" at 8pm.. "Jim's Mortuary" Vs "The Cameltoe Inn" at 9pm.. Or several businesses at once. Thursday Night, Cheers, Gary's, Jim's Mortuary, and Camel Toe Inn from 8-10pm.. Make it clear that there is no bottle until after throttle..
Have a number of races between the teams ... Drivers who raced earlier will likely want to stick around to see how their team does. If drinks and food are available, somewhere you can observe the track and cheer on their team even better..
Each business (sponsor) is the "constructor" and scores points accordingly.
Each driver also scores driver points.
At the end of the season. Have a Showdown.. The top 2 teams, and the top "XX" amount points scoring drivers show up on the same night, or 2 different nights.. For the league finals..
Want to bring things up a notch?
Is there a college in the area that offers a broadcasting course? Approach students in that course, or the director of the course for students looking for experience.. Have them add track announcing to the races toward the, bar/rest/viewing area.. Students will likely work cheap offer them Free racing and a broadcasting reference..
According to TV the Cameltoe Inn is somewhere in or around Ottawa...
