I wonder if I can show up and beat myself?
I'd like a do-over on that last post please.
I would very likely be the slowest car there by an order of magnitude.

Maybe next year. My new car is too new to me to even consider being a contender. Until now, I've never even driven a car on track capable of more than 120ish mph.
I'm going to be there in my new project car. But I don't think I'll be anywhere near competitive given some of the firepower other folks are bringing along.

Oh I think we'll definitely be pals next year (although you have wide fives, which immediately makes you cooler).

Like any good racer/track day enthusiast, I torque my lugnuts before a session. This being my first foray with this car, I snapped the very first one clean off trying to torque it to 150 ft-lb (lack of research on my part). After missing an entire Friday of Open Track sessions trying to find a local wide 5 hub and trying to see if I could punch out the old stud (negatory), I decided on Saturday to just send it on 4. It was fine. But that was an expensive lesson.
I was kind of wishing I had the uncool hubs.
