That column certainly set the tone for 40 years. As an aside, it's been interesting reading issue No. 1.
P.S. - How about that vintage Koni ad?
The sport of autocross has more than doubled in age since that column. And I believe Tim has too.

What the E36 M3 was this about? That one sentence now would probably eliminate half of this community.

Oh my, great flash back. 84 is when I really got into AutoX. Started with the 80 Dodge Colt, the one with that crazy 8-speed trans (4spd w/ hi/low split trans). Thanks for the memories! Miss ya Tim!
